Corsica, Ordinary Days

Corsica sits in the Mediterranean at an angle slightly apart from the rest of Europe - French by administration, culturally its own. These photographs were made across the island: the cliff citadel of Bonifacio, the fishing harbours of Ajaccio, remote beaches accessible only on foot, and the small towns that tourism passes through without stopping. The images move between landscape and street, between the coastline and the people who live and work alongside it.
